“A Star Is Born” was the name of the game at the Munich Children's Film Festival on July 3, 2021:
Almost 17 years after the animated film adaptation of Klaus Baumgart's bestseller, the live-action version of LAURAS STERN celebrated its festive world premiere as the opening film. And just like the original, which won the German Film Award in 2005, we didn't skimp on the magical, sparkling stardust this time either. Because today, as then, the movie magic motto applies to us:
“More is more. And too much is never enough.”
