Akiko is a monkey child who escapes from the zoo to find his relatives living in freedom in the forest. Only with the help of the city's many friendly animals can they succeed. An exciting adventure for young and old.

We brought many of Akiko’s friends to life for this film, including llamas, camels, a raccoon, a parakeet, a parrot, a rat, and an eagle.

Akiko won the German Film Award 2025 in the category "Best Children's Film."
